SNAPSHOTS is a predominantly Americana/acoustic assemblage of concert footage, TV broadcasts, and alt-mixes of existing material, extrapolated from performances in California, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. At the time, Blair was touring heavily as an solo acoustic singer-songwriter, stepping back from the highly-produced funk/soul/experimentalism of his landmark FIRE album. SNAPSHOTS was released as a response to audience demand. Highlights include the Beach Boys-inspired Steinbeck Found The Valley and Like A Father To A Son. Blair's cover of For What It's Worth (Buffalo Springfield) charted on iTunes.
