Lines From Different Sources marks a return to Kutiman’s intergalactic explorations of the lesser travelled spaces that exists between all things funky, jazzy and psychedelic.

Swirling synth lines float over tabla and percussive patterns, flutes converse with distant horns and psycho-active liquid guitars pave the way for shifting melodies and grooves.

While there’s a lot that is happening at any given moment and the influential points of reference are plenty - the music sounds confident, mature and unmistakably his own. The wide range of instruments recorded are all played, overdubbed and sonically enhanced by Kutiman himself.
