Another title ripped from the missed connections section: this was to be a C-30 on Neon Blossom, covering a trip to Chicago to perform/attend the label's Neon Marshmallow Festival at the (then) Viaduct Theater (now it's known as Constellation, where I've played twice in the interim) in August of 2010.

The A-side covers an otherwise unreleased Generators set in its full 2010 glory, warts & all, captured almost exactly a month prior to the two sets featured on the Editions Mego Generators LP, albeit here augmented by subtle percussive elements (MFB hats & a big 808 thump via the early/prototype Cwejman BLD).

The B-side covers a set of repeatedly botched/crashing Occlusions wherein the main PSU of those masterfully terrible Monorocket cases continually surged & volleyed, requiring frequent reboots.

The audio from these two sets is bookended by several field recordings made during the trip: ice sheets sliding across Lake Michigan & short radio montages made during the long drives.

From memory, there was also a collaborative set w/ the full TV Pow ensemble & one in a trio formation with Caboladies that I may or may not still have on file; if so I'll add them to this album, in time.
