When Panasonic Corporation launched the Technics Direct Drive Turntable System SL-1200MK7 in 2019 they ran a promotion in Japan from October 25, 2019 to January 24, 2020 whereby purchasers of one turntable qualified to claim one copy of this promotional seven inch vinyl single.
Purchasers of two turntables qualified to claim two copies of the single as well as a G-SHOCK watch (Base model: DW-5750E-1JF) with a special Technics logo.
The quantity of singles manufactured and claimed through this promotiuon has not been publicly documented.

When Rittor Music launched the book Technics SL-1200の肖像 ターンテーブルが起こした革命 [translation: Portrait of the turntable revolution (ISBN: 9784845634330) by Katsuaki Hosokawa on October 26th 2019 the OBI of the book included an invitation open until December 31st 2019 to apply for one of 10 copies of the vinyl single to be awarded via a raffle.
