The gig was the same night as Game 2 of the World Series between The Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals. Boston won 6-2. Nobody came to this gig because of the hysteria surrounding the series. It was one of the best gigs the big-band line-up ever played. a stand-out document.
