Celebrating 25 years:

In the last weeks of 1983 I thought it would be a neat idea to make a mix of the best dance tracks of that year. Not just a megamix, but a mix running for a full hour that would eventually hold some 100+ songs, and so the Grandmix was born. It became the annual end of the year dance music highlight and the benchmark for all other yearmixes. Now I have come full circle as many of the DJ's who got into the music business inspired by the Grandmix, now inspire me with their styles and tunes. Enjoy! Ben Liebrand
