Tracks are live recordings from 1984 and 1988.

Although no track list appears on either sleeve or inner disc labels, the tracks are written inside the circular part of the Hawkwind shield on the front of the sleeve. The track order was obtained via playback of the album, whilst uncredited performers are contemporary with the live recording dates given.

This LP was reportedly released by Hawkwind to promote their new (at the time) label, The Emergency Broadcast System.
