Recorded At San Zeno Abbey
This record collects a selection of the tapes recorded during the Improvisors' Symposium project directed by Evan Parker for the fifth edition of the Rassegna Internazionale del Jazz di Pisa. The Symposium took place in the San Zeno Abbey and in the Giardino Scotto open theatre on the 26, 27 and 28 June 1980.

'Pisa String Duet' and 'San Zeno Quintet' are excerpts from longer improvisations; the remaining pieces are presented as played.
