A paper insert contained the following text:
The Legendary Pink Dots Human Radio at Cafe Desmet, 14.05.2002 A small cafe in Amsterdam. A sophisticated audience of intellectuals, journalists, and politicians spending an afternoon in heated debate live for Human Radio in a country rocked by recent World events. An election was imminent. Traditional Dutch tolerance seemed to be forgotten - was anybody REALLY interested in listening to a psychedelic band? Actually, yes... The Dots strangely provided the 'light' relief amidst all the dialogue. We'd been asked to play the quiet songs and for once we respected this request. Even so, the volume went up when the radio show finished and here you have all the songs played that day except 'Birdie' - too unbalanced for inclusion here. This CDR is dedicated to Marylou who organised our appearance that day and continues to positively support the band since the early 80's.
The insert goes on to list the line-up and tracklisting.
