Sold as part of the Akira Kurosawa Film Music Complete Records: Middle Volume (A.K.A.: Film Music of Akira Kurosawa The Complete Edition Vol. 2) box set and on its own. Bonus tracks include surviving stereo material, outtakes and more. Music composed and conducted by Masaru Sato. All music is in mono except for tracks 21 - 34, which are in stereo.

The score was recorded on February 5 and 6, 1963 at the Toho Recording Center.
