With its atypical approach to the techno genre, sometimes dissonant and always infused with cinematographic influences which participate through samples to create a retro-futuristic aesthetic, Daily Grinders sketches in six concise tracks the allegory of a sometimes anxiety-inducing daily life, where introspective abstractions, urban reveries and nightmarish tension intermingle and merge to the sound of distorted strings and brass, textured synth pads, melancholic piano and syncopated beats.
