Both tracks were recorded earlier this year. The tracks are influenced by the likes of Ethiopian vibraphone player Mulatu Astatke and Tropicalia musician Gal Costa as well as nu-disco like Dimitri From Paris, the Black Cock record label and composer, musician and cosmologist Moondog. Findlay Brown says; 'I wanted to fulfill some musical desires and get some stuff out of my system, I love a lot of exotica, world music and library music and disco and wanted to be able to create a mix up Ennio Morricone with some European disco and African Rhythms. Stuff I don't get to do with my albums.'
