The release is housed in a standard jewel case with a black flip tray to hold both discs, complete with a four-page paper booklet and rear inlay. There are no credits listed anywhere on the release. While not mentioned anywhere on the release, this was manufactured in Bulgaria.

The title is capitalized as 'Dj Hits Vol. 1' on the front cover and discs, but is capitalized as 'DJ Hits vol. 1' on the spines.

There are a couple of misprints on the release that have been corrected above. These include, but are not limited to the following:
- Track 1-3 featured artists appear as 'Pras Free', these are 'Pras' and 'Free' - two separate artists
- Track 1-14 title appears as Bacause We Want To
- Track 1-17 title appears as You Should Be Danceing
