This CD is housed in a jewel case with an 8-page booklet.

At the bottom left of the outer tray artwork is printed, SB Box Set CD 2 of 3.

From the booklet: Naïve Melodies is CD #2 of a 3-CD box set that was recorded between June 2002 – June 2003 in my home studio in Seattle. This 45-song recording project documents the live and studio work of the Steve Ball Roadshow in its primary 2001–2003 configurations.

CD-1 Roadshow features fifteen original acoustic interlocking short story pop songs arranged for multiple voices, multiple guitars, drums and percussion.

You are holding CD-2 Naïve Melodies featuring fifteen obscure but hauntingly familiar songs clothed in non-obvious arrangements for multiple voices, multiple guitars, drums and percussion.

CD-3 Knotwork features fifteen instrumental ambient acoustic guitar interludes as well as remixed rearrangements of new, historic and select songs from the first two CDs.

These are all 'cover songs' that have spontaneously appeared during live rehearsals over the past two years. In general, they constructed out of layers of deceptively simple 'naive' melodies/
