This is the first CD release of the Chausson, Berlioz and Tchaikovsky items. The Honegger works previous appeared on CD 18 of Decca Sound: The Mono Years 1944 – 1956 Although issued here in mono, a genuine stereo recording of the Honegger Symphony exists and was first released on LP in April 1972 (Decca ECS 640).
