The title track Crash on Mars was originally written for the 1997 Mayday Festival in Germany. DJ Dan was asked for a track for the Mayday CD and time was running out. With three days to finish the track, DJ Dan approached Dano with the idea and they banged out a rough mix for the deadline. A year later and with a little more work to the mix, Red Melon released the mix with an additional mix titled Dreamweaver a dark, hard-hitting fusion track. Remixes are in the works for a UK release as well as a limited re-issue of the original 12-inch.
