The title to this compilation refers to the fact that the tracks are ALL from ied members - thus ALLied. ied, or ie-dance, is a large online Irish dance music scene discussion forum.

The CD was initially available at the ie-dance Louder night on Saturday 28 April 2001 in the Temple Bar Music Centre in Dublin. Later, it was available through record shops and online stores.
