Some time ago, Werner Drexler hit on the idea to counter rock and punk with a new sound of demanding outstanding instrumental music, by forming a group of five players who performed LIFE in the studio without using the normal technical facilities of multi-tracking and over dubbing etc.
This idea was taken up with great enthusiasm by Siggi Schwab, and it was he who created with his unmistakable guitar style the very distinctive new sound of INCOGNITO FIVE.
Werner Drexler was the soloist on two of the L.P.'s by this group a few years ago.
The new production MUSIC IN THE EAR again aims to satisfy the musical trend of the moment. The four international soloists engaged in this production have, without exeption [sic], fulfilled these aims, especially Mladen Franko on keyboards, who is an ideal alternative to Siggi Schwab.
