Mortal Kombat has always had a strong relationship with music. Most importantly, it's had the great honor of being a vehicle to introduce new music to its fans. From the instantly recognizable background tunes of the original arcade games to the industrial and techno sounds of the mid 90s soundtracks, there's always been a credible resonance with the fan base when it comes to the music of Mortal Kombat.
