This CD contains the national soundtrack played in the soap opera.

A Favorita was a Brazilian soap opera displayed on TV Globo between June 2, 2008 and January 16, 2009 on Rede Globo, as the soap opera of the station, with a total of 197 chapters.

It was written by João Emanuel Carneiro, with the collaboration of Marcia Prates, Denise Bandeira, Fausto Galvão, Vincent Villari, directed by Roberto Naar, Paulo Silvestrini, Gustavo Fernandez, Roberto Vaz, Pedro Vasconcelos, Marco Rodrigo Secchin and Isabela, and the general direction and core Ricardo Waddington.

In Portugal, the novel was exhibited by SIC between 23 June and 20 February 2009.
