Galactic Intolerance Records Volume 2 is the noisy sequel to GIR vol1. It includes highlights from the careers of several of the most promising and inventive noise artists the underground noise scene has to offer. Everything has been compiled for this disc to represent the various genres and sub corners of the state of modern noise music today. If it is lo-fi noise you seek, Substitution Product has brought us kitchen and bathroom items used as noise in stereo! Do you like real harsh noise? Then graduate from heavy metal and go one step harder into the scraping, scratching odyssey that is Torba. Somnaphon and Unicorngun both give their unique approach to subtle, and even sequenced noise here with amazing soundscapes like Pigs in a Blanket, and Kardiness 2. There are vocals and sampling in noise with electronica artist The Smudge, and the short, sweet ramblings of DEMONOMANIACO!!!. UTG squeaks by with grunts and moans, Sleep of Ages speaks noise volumes, Uncle Vukmir drones into outer space and parody, and Food World dishes out some tasty experimental noise snippets. The noisecore crowd will also be pleased, as the comp includes a wonderful and challenging piece by NxFxTxEx. Also included here is the LIVE intense acid noise, FUKNO, or Steffan Dennis Acid. The End of this disc is punctuated by the drunken lo-fi recordings of the GIR staff who discuss a dead dog, Jefferson Star ship as a namesake and mouth noises.
