DIR's King Biscuit Flower Hour was a 60-minute, weekly national radio show that was broadcast on radio stations in the US who paid for the subscription. These shows feature portions of professionally recorded concerts, as well as national commercials.

Each show was mailed in an outer KBFH mailer box with cue sheet and certificate of performance for the station to fill out, plus a return envelope to return the disc back to DIR. The CDs are placed in a DIR paper sleeve. These were not issued with traditional CD cases.

The cue sheets list the contents, commercials and duration for each segment for the DJ to be able to properly cue up and end each segment during the broadcast. (see photos)

These were available only to radio stations who subscribed to the KBFH and were not sold in stores.

For radio play only (Not for sale).
This program is solely for the one time broadcast use of stations cleared by DIR Broadcasting on the designated date and time scheduled by the network. It must be returned to DIR immediately after airing.
