After the Mail-art Congress 1986, the World-Wide Decentralized Networker Congress 1992 and the Incongrous Meetings 1998 (MA-C 86 + 6 = DNC 92 + 6 = IM 98 + 6 =) comes OA04 - a year of Obscure Actions.
Action at the crossroad between shamanic rite and happening, pychogeographic drift and fluxus gag: a true metaphorical act, and intensification of experience, a channeling of subconscious energies. Maybe a sculpture lef anonimously on a road, a novel kept deliberatly inside a drawer, a cryptic gesture made in private or amidst a crowd. Whoever in the course of the year 2004 performed one or more Obscure Actions became part of the =A04 project. If a documentation of these actions (text, photo, drawings, etc.) has been mailed to Phosgenia, traces of it have been included in one of the four bullettins (n. 0, 1, 2-3 and 4) produced and mailed free to all the contributors.
