The Big Hurt features select tracks from seven inches, digital-only releases, cassettes and b-sides. While hardly a definitive collection, The Big Hurt is more-so a best of of non album track personal favorites from the last few years.

According to the Soft Kill Big Cartel page This is a ONE-TIME pressing of 300 copies on random-colored vinyl with hand stamped labels. The first 50 copies come with a 11x17 poster and are numbered in red ink. The rest are numbered in black ink.

In reality, the labels are blank and not all copies were numbered.
