This book, the third in the arborescence collection, is accompanied by a CD of eleven songs on the theme of trees and the environment and follows:
À cours d’eau, une réflexion sur l’eau and Mots de terre, une pensée pour la Terre.

The authors of the poetic, narrative and informational texts in the book on trees are young people from Quebec, France and Senegal, while the photographs that accompany the texts are the work of photographer Stéphane Lemire.

The artists who have written a song on the CD are: Les Cowboys Fringants, Ian Kelly, Yann Perreau, Francis Bernier with Florent Vollant, Yannick Noah, Renan Luce and Richard Séguin, who also wrote the preface to the book.
