Christmas is a time full of feelings towards family, friends and our loved ones. It means a special time for many of us because it generates a whirlwind of emotions that range from happiness to melancholy for the days that have passed, the people who have arrived and those who are no longer physically with us.

The sensitivity that emerges at Christmas inspired many Latin American composers to create beautiful songs that are part of our childhood Christmas memories, so, to celebrate this special date, this selection of classic Christmas albums contains those songs in the genres of guaracha, bomba, plena, bolero, guajira, cha cha chá, son, son montuno, pachanga and boogaloo, which were recorded by great figures of Afro-Cuban music and salsa.
