It has been an official city holiday since 1871, when the local government first organized a program of special activities to observe the Roman Catholic feast day of Our Lady of Mercy. In 1871, the legendary Fiesta took place for the first time. 1986, 115 eventful years later, their friends from the local Spanish heroes La Ultima de la Fila invite Dissidenten to join them at this huge festival, one of the biggest on the Iberian Peninsula.
