Shake Those 'Simmons Down Directions:
Form circles with 3 to 6 children in each
1. Shake that tree... Hold hands and turn in a circle, counter clockwise.
2. Put right hands across (like spokes in a wheel) and move in a circle to the left.
3. Put left hands across (like a spoke in a wheel), and move in a circle to the right.
4. All join hands and walk to the center of the circle until all are standing shoulder-to-shoulder.
5. Moving backwards, children return to circle holding hands.
6. Children touch their shoulders, then knees, each time lyrics are spoken.
7. Children stomp feet as though walking in place while clapping hands with each stomp.
