As the years fly by through this crazy life of a musician, I often reminisce about my childhood in Pittsburgh and think (as David Byrne once said): “How did I get here?”. Although much more difficult to convey stories through instrumental music than with lyrics, the original songs on this album are titled in a way to hint at certain aspects and experiences of my early years, before I discovered my calling and current profession as a bass player. I hope you enjoy listening to my “Origin Story” as much as I have enjoyed creating and living it.
