All the music included on Almost the Right People was written for, or featured in, live theatre shows by UK playwright Ben Moor, several of which have subsequently been broadcast by the BBC.
This compilation album marks thirteen years of collaboration between members of SOTT and the UK writer Ben Moor. Half the tracks are performed by SOTT, the other half by Grand Western (a more pop, less rock band that Simon Oakes and Rob Havis formed for a while in-between Peach and Suns of the Tundra, along with singer Kirsten France.
