This is from the live session at the Beat Club TV studios in Bremen, April 12, 1972. The band did several numbers that day, with only one later broadcasted on German TV. This is the full video of the performance, from UK label 'Gonzo MultiMedia'.

The band title on this release is incorrect.
By 1970 they were Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band.


Track 8 is originally from the earlier Trout Mask Replica album [Nov 1969].
Tracks 2, 3, 6, 7 & 9 are from The Spotlight Kid [Jan 1972].
Track 4 would later appear on Clear Spot [Oct 1972].

DVD is housed in a Super Jewel Case.
