Tracks 1 to 10 originally released as the album LC on Factory Records (Fact 44) in November 1981. Lotta continua = LC = the struggle continues. Recorded at Graveyard Studio, Prestwich.
Tracks 11 and 12 originally released as a 7 single package on Sordide Sentimental (SS 45005) in July 1981. Recorded at Graveyard Studio, Prestwich.
Tracks 13 to 15 originally released on the compilation album A Factory Quartet on Factory Records (Fact 24) in December 1980. Recorded at Strawberry Studios, Stockport.
Tracks 16 to 17 originally released on the 12 EP Deux Triangles on Factory Benelux (FBN 10) in October 1982.

Disc 2:
Track 1 originally released in place of Messidor on some foreign editions of the album LC in 1981. Recorded at Graveyard Studio, Prestwich.
Track 2 recorded at the LC sessions and edited for release on the compilation album The Fruit of the Original Sin on Les Disques du Crépuscule (TWI 035) in November 1981. Experimental piece using the intervals of a fifth.
Tracks 3 to 7 recorded as 4-track demos for LC [...] in 1980 at Graveyard Studio [...]. These unedited versions are longer than the finished tracks issued on Fact 44, and do not feature percussion overdubs by Bruce Mitchell. The TEAC 4-track reel-to-reel machine was sold to Vini by Bill Nelson.
Tracks 8 and 9 originally released as a 7 single on Factory Benelux (FBN 100), a very small number of which were distributed with Deux Triangles (FBN 10) in October 1982.
Track 10 originally released on The Fruit Of The Original Sin on Les Disques du Crépuscule (TWI 035) in November 1981. Written and produced [...] sometime in 1980 in Brussels.
Track 11 originally released on The Fruit Of The Original Sin on Les Disques du Crépuscule (TWI 035) in November 1981. Sad song by Vini Reilly that was a tragedy.
Track 12 originally released on the compilation album Chantons Noël - Ghosts of Christmas Past on Les Disques du Crépuscule (TWI 058) in December 1981.
Track 13 recorded in 1981 but not released. This is the 'flange' version first on FBN 2 CD in 1991.
Track 14 originally credited to Jez and Vini and released on the compilation cassette From Brussels With Love on Les Disques du Crépuscule (TWI 007) in November 1980. Recorded at Cargo Studios, Rochdale, June 1980. In memoriam Ian Curtis.

Track 16 is an edit of the longer track originally released on the 12 EP Deux Triangles on Factory Benelux (FBN 10) in October 1982. The edit was included on vinyl copies of the Durutti compilation album Valuable Passages (Fact 164) in 1986.
