The PRO-JEX crew hit the decks with a tremendous collection of tracks aimed right between the eyes for DJs and fans alike. In a bit of an original slant for a label compilation, the label asked PRO-JEX artists to choose their favourite PRO-JEX track and then provide a remix, exclusive for this album. It took quite some time to complete this project (no pun intended), but here, after almost a year, are the results.

So, DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, who actually turned the label on to DJ DEEON many years ago, finally gets to grips with DEEON's seminal Booty cut, 'Shake It!'
Mutual admirers DIGITAL PRIMATE and BLIMP (both from Melbourne, Australia) take on each other, as do CO-FUSION & FRANKIE BONES, DJ RUSH & CHARLIE HALL.
Friends from Japan, DJ SHUFFLEMASTER and DJ ZANK (aka SUBVOICE), who have done mixes for PRO-JEX rather than making tracks, have come through with some of the wildest reworkings yet. DAVE CLARKE, always a great supporter of the label, has been hammering DJ ZANK's awesome mix of ORGAN GRINDA's '100 Years Later', which is like a 21st Century KLF track, Stadium Techno!!!

It’s a collection of mixes that have never been released before - recorded especially for this album, making it a real collectors item for anyone who has an interest in any of the star-studded list of artists and remixers featured on this release.

The vinyl version is a triple pack for the DJs so that, with the exception of the 'F' side (which has three tracks) there are two tracks per side, thus allowing maximum audio response.

The label consider this to be an artist album rather than a compilation. The artist being ‘PRO-JEX’. Everyone who they ask to record or remix for the label has an instinctive grasp of what the label is about; funky-assed ghetto-tek, big, bad 'n' booty!

The CD pairing has all the tracks separate on CD1, whilst CD2 features the album tracks plus a few more, mixed as a continuous DJ set by Pro-Jex’s favourite son, Chicago’s DJ RUSH, including some trademark sleazy mic action!
Rush’s own tracks feature heavily in the mix, the awesome ‘Get On Up’ (Chris Liebing mix), ‘Sex Me All Nite Long’ (Charlie Hall mix), the massive ‘Look & See’ (original) and depraved ‘Spitball’, extra tracks from other artists include ‘The Server Sleeps’ Justin Berkovi, ‘Pussy Work’ from Angel Alanis & Urban, and additional tracks from DJ Deeon, DJ Nehpets, Frankie Bones and Wyndell Long, plus an original unreleased track from Rush!

The first 500 LPs will also include the DJ Rush Mix CD.
