The rear sleeve credits Jay Dublee as the recording engineer. The insert credits Jerry Williams as the recording engineer. Jay Dublee is an aliases used by Jerry Williams.

Includes a white paper insert that reads:
In 1982, the Bad Brains set out to release a compilation — featuring predominantly East Coast hardcore groups — that would that would serve as a reaction to the then recently-released [m=28754] compilation on [l10389]. A track listing and brief mention of this compilation can be found in the pages of the American Hardcore book, but needless to say, this album was never released and most of the recordings have been lost.

This 7 features the three Bad Brains tracks intended for the compilation, taken directly from the original master tape. There songs were recorded at some point during 1981-1982 — possibly as outtakes to the ROIR cassette sessions — by Jerry Williams at his infamous [l294351]. The B-side features a never-recorded reggae jam, taken from a live performance in San Diego, CA.

Jah bless, and we hope you enjoy this record as much as we do!
