Previously unreleased Eric Dolphy recordings from 1960-1961, remastered and first released in 1982 by Fantasy Records (except B2, Serene, was first released on [m=789869] [1974]).

A1 and A2 are first takes of titles released on [m=200850] recorded on April 1, 1960.
B1, recorded on July 16, 1961, is the first studio take of a title released on the live recording [m172690]
B2 is an outtake from sessions for Far Cry recorded on December 21, 1960, the same day Dolphy had recorded [m=28578] with Ornette Coleman in New York.
