Originally Fingerprince (Ralph Records, RR 1276) was intended to be a three-sided album. However, the money ran out and Side 3 was released in limited quantities under the name Babyfingers EP.
A limited quantity was also released two years later in 1981 by the Residents' old fan club W.E.I.R.D. but they too ran out of money.
The left-overs were then re-re-issued by Ralph in 1985. As a result these also had the W.E.I.R.D. catalogue numbers rather than the Ralph catalogue number.

Note also that the first 1979 edition was 35-40 copies with no artwork. About 10 of these were later hand decorated in 8 colours with felt tip pens, packaged in modified Santa Dog '78 sleeves (as documented by unofficial fan-site Rrroar) and sent to people who had been waiting more than 2 years for their Third Reich 'N' Roll Collectors Box. The 1981 edition released by The Residents Fan Club WEIRD (We Endorse Immediate Residents Deification) was a limited run of 1500 copies in black and pink cardboard covers (the more well-known image of the pink baby with numerous hands and fingers). The 1985 Ralph Records re-release was a limited edition of 250 copies on Pink vinyl and clear plastic sleeves.
