The Musical Instrument Digital Interface turned bedroom synthesizer boffins into one man bands, turned trios into orchestras and liberated many a sad Rick Wakeman wannabe. The first [r58703=Excursions In Ambience] gave praise to the '70s exponents of ambience, whilst introducing newer generation of ambient boffins.
