[On front]
This album is dedicated to my daughter Alanna Natasha and all the people who love her.
Thanks to James and CC, Michael and Munyungo, for your very creative contributions to this recording.

The audiophile label VTL (often stylized as ViTaL) launched by David Manley in ca. 1989 as a showcase for his Vacuum Tube Logic of America, Inc. high-end equipment manufacturing company.
VTL is an American manufacturer of high-end tube amplifiers and microphones founded in 1987 (initially based in Rhode Island and with roots in England, also under the VTL brand) founded by David Manley and his eldest son, Luke. In CA. 1989 it spawned the Vital Records label and the Manley Laboratories, to showcase the sound of his recording equipment and demonstrate his minimalist live-to-2-track recording techniques. The studio: he built a 30 x 40 ft. room with a 16 foot high cathedral ceiling; the studio was built from the ground up, Manley designed and built every element of the recording-, playback- & monitor-chain.
Between 1991 and 1993 VTL / Vital records / Vacuum Tube Logic of America, Inc. released some outstanding audiophile „state-of-the-art“ recordings on CD and vinyl.
