Nightcrawlerz was a music/arts collective formed in Detroit in the late 70’s by Cary Loren and Barry Roth. Recording found-poetry, destroyed writing and deconstructed music. A double CD set was released in 1999 with a 24 page illustrated booklet with excerpts from the 8 released issues of the Nightcrawlerz zine, 4 NC postcards with annotated listings of each track, band manifesto, poems and sticker seals. The double CD set is contained in a crystal clear envelope, with special seals in an edition limited to 500 copies. Copies of the band's zines and music are in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (NY).
