Pressed By Kaybank Recording Corp.
According to Wille Smyth's 1984 Country Music Recorded Prior to 1943: A Discography of LP Reissues (JEMF Special Series No. 14), this compilation was produced in several hundred copies but never officially released, due to threatened legal action by Columbia Records against the Minnesota Folk Song Society over their previous compilation LP of the Skillet Lickers. 1962 was the year in which the litigation was threatened, however the Kay Bank matrix of 3796 would place date of pressing at mid-1963. The disc was likely distributed among members of the society, not for sale, to avoid litigation.

The LP was not titled and no artwork was developed for the jacket.

Catalog number KB 3796 is printed on the labels.
