This is a promotional publishing sampler issued by the film studio to promote the works, composers and films. The CD set comes in a fat-boy CD jewel case with 2 four page inserts (each a single folded over tray booklet), one for each disc. Each insert has Track Listing Alphabetically by Film on page 1, Track Listing Alphabetically by Category on page 2 and Track Listing Alphabetically by Composer on page 3. The tracks appear in the order of the first page of the inserts (by film).

Nearly all tracks are as they appeared on the commercially released original sountrack and score albums. Some may have been remastered for this promotional release and some have never been commercially released or they appeared in different edits on their respective soundtracks. The following exceptions and differences here are:
Lovely Sack Of Coconuts from score to Bio-Dome was never commercially released, it only otherwise appeared on the promotional CDr Music For Film.
The Little Dream from the score Birdcage by Stephen Sondheim appears here as an unreleased instrumental orchestral version of the song, while the version that appears on The Birdcage (Original United Artists Motion Picture Soundtrack) is a vocal (with piano) performance by Nathan Lane.
Main Titles & I Was Thinking from the Fled score by Graeme Revell are unreleased and appear exclusive to this collection. The film score was never released, commercially or otherwise.
Moll Reprise from the score for Moll Flanders by Mark Mancina appears in a (very) slightly longer version here than on the commercially released score.
Main Theme from the score for Overboard by Alan Silvestri appears here as a 3:06 edit from the commercially released version of the soundtrack album, which has the piece at 3:59 in length. The shorter version appears to be on the unofficial release Overboard / Captain Ron under the title Main Title.
Both Van Dyke Parks tracks here appeared on the limited edition Wild Bill And The Two Jakes (Original Motion Picture Scores) but with different titles and mastered differently, Bill And Charlie appeared on the limited score CD under the title A New Day, while Bill Visits Susannah appeared under the title Bill And Jane.
