Adeus Carne, is the first LP in the history of Inocentes, came out in 1987 still under the ashes of the EP [m919545] that had come out a year earlier.

The song Pátria Amada that opens the album, summed up the feeling of every Brazilian at that moment, after the failure of the Cruzado Plan, and went straight to the top 10 rock radio stations across the country.
It is the band's first conceptual album, and its name, is the meaning of the word Carnaval, consecutively the album ends in samba with an overwhelming version of Pesadelo by Paulo César Pinheiro.

Adeus Carne has other hits that remain in memory, songs like Cidade Chumbo and Tambores, had their guitar sound praised even by Herbert Vianna
