The first side was recorded at Rainbow Sound Studios, Nottingham on 8-track. The second side was recorded at the Leicester Polytechnic Scraploft Music Studio and Sherree's bedroom and Alan's bedroom. The entire operation cost 500 Pounds Sterling.
