Mujeres Sin Miedo (Women Without Fear) is the second album by Juan Sinmiedo (Spanish singer and actor's real name is Juan Guillén), four years after publishing his eponymous debut : Juan Sinmiedo (Ardace / Sony), co-written and produced in 2000 by José María Cano of Mecano fame, and recorded between La Havana and London. For this album, he invited 11 famous Spanish-language singers to sing with him his own compositions as duets: Victoria Abril, Loles León, Rossy de Palma, Mercedes Ferrer, Cristina del Valle, Sonia Terol, Esmeralda Grao, Ginesa Ortega, Sole Zaplana, Nacha Guevara and Carmen París. For the other 9 tracks, Juan offers the same songs with bare arrangements, recorded with his voice and a piano only.
