This box set includes quadraphonic and stereo mixes remastered in high resolution 192/24 DTS-HD Master Audio 4.0 and DTS-HD Master Stereo in 192kHz/24Bit plus core DTS in 48kHz/24bit on nine Blu-ray Audio discs. The sleeves replicate the original release, including mini posters and the iron-on that came with Chicago VIII. All disks are protected by additional plastic inner sleeves. Rhino has remastered each album in both its original quadrophonic and stereo mix on each disc. CHICAGO QUADIO spans seven years and includes eight studio albums, in addition to Chicago IX: Chicago’s Greatest Hits.

Disc 2 and disc 8 are mispressed:
On the stereo part of disc 2 'Chicago' the tracks 2-5 up to 2-12 are incorrectly mastered as mono folddowns instead of stereo.
On the stereo part of disc 8 'Chicago IX - Chicago's Greatest Hits '69-'74' the track 8-3 is incorrectly mastered as mono folddown instead of stereo.

In September 2016, Rhino started to ship corrected replacement discs for BR2 Chicago and for BR8 Chicago IX - Chicago's Greatest Hits '69-'74 to all customers who complained about the mispress.
