This release represents an overview of the projects I have been involved in since I began recording music. I became interested in playing music because of the free space opened up by punk rock in the mid to late 70's. All of a sudden, it seemed that your brain had become more important than your fingers or your wallet. The idea of playing along with records or practicing an instrument by myself has always seemed extremely nauseating. For me, the exciting thing about music, as opposed to the other arts I participate in (writing, photography, film making), is the interaction and collaboration with others. This is why I will never do a solo project. In this spirit, I would like to dedicate this tape to all the participants. I love you all, and the times spent doing music with you have been some of the best times of my life.
