Manufactured For Columbia Graphophone (Aust.) Pty. Ltd. During 1952, EMI (Australia) briefly experimented with producing 78 rpm releases as vinyl pressings. This venture was not successful since the vinyl pressings did not stand up well to repeated use by the heavy pickups still generally in use at that time. It seems that only one monthly release was produced as vinyl pressings and after that they went back to the usual shellac pressings. A few of the more popular releases (such as this one) also exist as shellac pressings with the same catalogue number. Matrix / Runout: CO 47070 (Side A) Matrix / Runout: CO 45192 (Side B)
