Belgian bass player, born and raised in Brussels in 1968, in a musical family, lived in Amsterdam for about 6 years, in NYC between 1999 and 2007, and is currently a resident of Brussels. He plays mainly electric and acoustic bass (jazz, soul and groove), and is much in demand as a top european bass player. He was awarded at the Belgium Jazz Contest in 1993 and at the Leverkusen Jazz Concours in 1994. He toured Europe and the USA and worked with Jazz greats like Toots Thielemans, Lee Konitz, Benny Bailey, and Franco Ambrosetti.
