American drummer, record label owner and music writer. Originally from Chicago where he formed the groups The Springfields and Choo Choo Train with Paul Chastain in the mid-late 1980s. They then formed Velvet Crush and both moved to Providence, Rhode Island c1990. He then relocated to Los Angeles where he ran the record labels Bird Song Recordings and Reaction Recordings (part of the Parasol Label Group). He also worked at a record store called Freakbeat in Sherman Oaks, CA and as a music writer. After almost 20 years in LA he moved to Minneapolis where he now works for Mill City Sound.
