Member of the
James Brown background vocal group Fire (formerly the Sugar Bees) which consisted of herself,
Martha High and
Kathy Jordan. She is sometimes referred to as Ann McLoud, Ann Beedling /
Ann Beedling, Ann Beedling McLeod or Anne Beedling-McLeod. Along with
David Weston, she co-wrote Smokin' & Drinking' which appears on Brown's 1980 album release,
Soul Syndrome. Along with Martha High she sang back up on the
[m=60701] album, released in 1980. She is also credited background vocalist on
Live At Montreux 1981 released in 2005/2006.
